Stories Without Borders. A Polygloth Vision About Beauty and Trauma.

Kasia B.Turajczyk

I have always viewed art as the fundamental pillar of civilisation—the silent, enduring dialogue of our collective history. For me, the canvas is not a place for rigid programmes, but a site for absolute freedom. I prefer to explore styles and techniques to the point of provocation, often inviting the ‘creative accident’ to reveal truths I hadn’t yet considered.

My work exists in a state of constant transit between two distinct worlds. Much of my fascination lies in Fantasy, Surreal Art, and Imaginary Realism. These pieces are often ‘brainy’ and metamorphic, informed by a life spent immersed in literature, history, and philosophy. They are intricate stories told through magical and sometimes unsettling elements.

To find balance, I escape into the visceral world of Abstract Art. After the intellectual rigour of my surreal work, painting large abstract canvases is my meditation. In those moments, I am happy to be ’empty’—simply going with the flow of feeling and colour. Being an artist is, for me, a never-ending story of discovery, navigating the ‘new places’ that exist both within and without.
