The Observer of the Paradox The Inevitable Horizon.

I have never been an optimist regarding the human species. Both history and the present demonstrate that for every masterpiece of art, music, or architecture, there exists an equal measure of absurdity and destruction. My art does not celebrate this duality; rather, it documents it. I employ the language of fantasy and historical allusion to investigate why, despite our capacity for beauty, we remain committed to our own dysfunction.

My work presents a perspective focused on the friction between the ideal and the reality of human behaviour.
Oil on wood panel, 50 cm x 50 cm, 2026

In this painting “The inevitable horizon” I present a perspective focused on the friction between the ideal and the reality of human behaviour. The painting depicts two worlds: one rendered in gold and green, where figures scramble in displays of violence and fleeting ego, and another in deep, resonant blues, where the solitary, noble unicorn remains anchored in silence. Above all, the crimson sky of finality serves as a reminder that, despite our grand narratives and petty disputes, death ultimately prevails.

Art is my response to the disappointment inherent in the human condition. While I maintain no illusions about the direction of our world, I find that painting offers the only means to reconcile the absurdity of daily life with the transcendent beauty of our greatest achievements. Through both abstraction and narrative fantasy, my work explores this fragile, frequently violent, and ultimately finite existence.
